Pristensky District (Russian: Пристенский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 696 square kilometers (269 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Pristen. Population: 16,893 (2010 Census); 21,249 (2002 Census); 4,935 (1989 Census). The population of Pristen accounts for 31.4% of the district's total population.
