Preston-on-Stour is a village and civil parish in Warwickshire, England found some four kilometres south of Stratford-on-Avon. The population of the civil parish as at the 2011 census was 244. As the village name suggests the River Stour flows along its eastern fringe and the A3400 runs about 1 kilometre east. The village was historically part of Gloucestershire until in changed counties in 1931. The village church is dedicated to Saint Mary. The village did have an Infant and Primary School but this closed in 1974. The children's television show the Teletubbies was filmed about two kilometres south of the village.
