School of Engineering
The School of Engineering at Presidency University, envisages transforming young inquisitive minds into engineers of tomorrow having strong fundamental knowledge, excellent skills and right attitude, fit for the community practice.
The course structure for all Engineering Programmes has 8 semesters comprising 45 to 50 courses and internship amounting to 170 - 190 credits. The first two semesters typically consist of foundation courses and courses in engineering concepts.
Students will specialize in their disciplines from III semester to VII semester. In the summer term after the 4th semester and in either of the semesters in the final year, every student will be required to undergo Industrial Practice I and Industrial Practice II in industries which are related to his/her branch of engineering. These account for 25 credits.
