Premios Fox Sports is the first awards program of its kind to recognize the contributions and accomplishments of US Hispanic and Latin American athletes and personalities from the world of sports both on and off the field. The show was created in 2003 and took place in Miami Beach until 2007. A joint program took place in Mexico City and Buenos Aires in 2008. The show returned to South Florida in 2009 and was televised LIVE from the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL.
