Pranab Kumar Chakraborty(born Bapi Chakraborty)(Bengali: প্রণব কুমার চক্রবর্তী); is an Indian Social Worker from the district of South 24 Parganas . He is the founder (1990) and director of the Zonal Welfare Council (ZWC), also known as ZWC, an organisation that works to facilitate sustainable development in health, nutrition, education and protection of children, empowerment and Income generation for womens of Rural Parts of West Bengal of district South 24 Parganas.

Chakraborty is the Current Secretary and Founder of Zonal Welfare Council an NGo in West Bengal, South 24 Parganas .Chakraborty graduated from North Bengal University. In 1980 he founded Amtala Matador Unioun Association and later resigned and formed Zonal Welfare Council in 1990 .
