Prairie Crossing is a station on Metra's Milwaukee District / North Line in Libertyville, Illinois. The station is located on 3001 West Harris Road, is 39.9 miles (64.2 km) away from Union Station, the southern terminus of the line, and serves commuters between Union Station and Fox Lake, Illinois. The station house is unmanned and consists of attached prefabricated office trailers.
There is a second station of the same name that services the North Central Service here. The two lines cross at an at-grade diamond northwest of the station. Both Prairie Crossing stations are in zone H of Metra's zone-based fare system.
