Port Kent, New York is a hamlet within the town of Chesterfield in Essex County, New York, on Lake Champlain's western shore. Ferry service to Burlington, Vermont is provided by the Lake Champlain Transportation Company. The community has an Amtrak railroad stop for service between Montreal and New York City.
