Polypsecta is a genus of moths belonging to the family Tineidae. It contains only one species, Polypsecta halmeuta, which is found in Brazil.

The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are elongate and light greyish-ochreous, irregularly sprinkled or slightly strigulated with blackish-fuscous. The markings are formed by dense blackish-fuscous irroration. The hindwings are grey.
