Polly Suzanne Peterson Bowles (born January 22, 1959) is a beauty queen from Edina, Minnesota, who has held the Miss Minnesota USA title.
Peterson was born to C. Donald and Gretchen Palen Peterson. She has four brothers, Todd, Scott, Craig, and Mark and one sister, Barbara.
She competed in many pageants during her teen years and went on to win her Miss Minnesota sash in 1981. She and her sister Barbara Peterson co-authored Becoming A Beauty Queen, an informational guide based on their experiences with beauty pageants.
She is married to Dan Bowles with whom she has four sons, Jeffrey, Brett, Kevin and Eric.
