Plectrohyla acanthodes (commonly known as the thorny spikethumb frog) is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is found in Guatemala and Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
