Platyptilia celidotus is a moth of the Pterophoroidea family. It is found in New Zealand and Australia.
It is easily distinguished from other Australian species by the diagonal fuscous streak at the base of the forewing cleft. The end of the streak closer to the costa is much further from the base of the wing than the end closer to the dorsum.
