Plateau State University is a university located in Bokkos, Plateau State Nigeria. It was established in 2005. In, March 2016 (after 10 years of establishing the University), the National Universities Commission (NUC) finally gave full accreditation to the first 17 programmes in the University. This gave the University a "full university" status, according to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Doknan Sheni.
