Pindi Subherwal is a densely populated village in the Khari Sharif area of Mirpur District.
It is situated at a distance of 10 km from Mirpur city. It is an important market town in the area. It is noted in the area for its advancements including girls and boys schools, hospital, bank, internet, direct dialing and under ground sewage system.
Majority of the people from this village are settled in UK,Europe and Middle East. Pindi Subherwal has highest literacy rate in any of Azad Kashmir villages. A large number of Pindi Subherwallians are working in health, education, bureaucracy and armed forces sectors.
