This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction
Hydrolytically removes 5'-nucleotides successively from the 3'-hydroxy termini of 3'-hydroxy-terminated oligonucleotidesHydrolyses both ribonucleotides and deoxyribonucleotides. Has low activity towards polynucleotides.
