Pholcobates flagelliformis is a moth in the Depressariidae family, and the only species in the genus Pholcobates. It was described by Meyrick in 1931 and is found in Brazil.

The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are lilac-grey with an attenuated white costal streak from the base to about four-fifths and a direct transverse whitish line at one-fourth from this to the dorsum, as well as an extremely oblique strong black line from the middle of the costa to four-fifths, where it meets the apex of an incurved white line anteriorly edged dark grey running to the dorsum at two-thirds. The apical and terminal edge are blackish, the apical preceded by white suffusion. The hindwings are grey, suffused white towards the base.
