Phillip W. Simpson is a New Zealand author of primary education books and novels.
Biography
Phillip received a Masters' in Archaeology from Auckland University in 1993. His other qualifications include post graduate diplomas in Museum Studies, Teaching (primary), Human Resources management and Education. After a brief stint in the army, he worked as an archaeologist, a museum curator, a recruitment agent and owned a comic shop. He became a primary school teacher in 2002.
His first Young Adult novel, Rapture, was short listed for the Sir Julius Vogel awards in the Best Youth Novel category.
He is represented by Vicki Marsdon at Wordlink Literary agency.
Phillip Simpson is married to Rosemarie Sherlock. They have one son, Jack Sherlock Simpson, born in May, 2011.
