Philipp Kuzmich Mironov (1872–1921) was a Bolshevik leader during and after the Russian Revolution. He actively supported the idea of democracy in the form of the Soviet Republic, was one of the first members of the Cossack troops in the Don region and served as a commander in the Red Army.

Mironov was an active opponent of the policy of the Red Terror and Leon Trotsky. He was arrested and later executed, as were many of first red atamans, founders and commanders of Red Cossack troops and others.

Personal life

He was born in the village of Ust-Medveditskaya; graduated from Novocherkassk military cadet school.
