Phil Lines is a British sports businessman who has worked as a senior executive for the English association football Premier League, Creative Artists Agency's sports division, and Lagardere Group.
Career
He began his career as a sports journalist and holds an MSc in Media Management. He worked for the Premier League as their media executive from 2002-2010, helping to boost their television sales overseas leading to them winning a Queen's Award for International Trade. He then took a job with Creative Artists Agency. At CAA he was involved in plans for a European football league which would break away from existing national league structures. In 2012, following CAA's decision to wind down their operations in European sport, he joined Lagardere Unlimited, part of French media conglomerate Lagardere Group.
