Petronėlė Lastienė (1897-1981), from Lithuania, is one of the Righteous Among the Nations. She rescued Jewish people from Kaunas when it was occupied by the Nazis. She also served as a nurse during World War I, for which she was awarded a medal. Yad Vashem recognized her as one of the Righteous Among the Nations in 2000. The Vilnius University library has a personal collection related to her.
