Peter Williams (born 20 April 1948), is the former Chief Executive of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), and the current Chairman of the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education (BAC). He was given a CBE for his services to higher education in 2009.
