Peter K Petrov is a Bulgarian physicist who has over seventy peer-reviewed articles.

Biography

Peter Petrov got his Master's degree in physics and engineering and his Ph.D. in Technical Sciences from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, St Petersburg, Russia. In February 2007 he joined the Department of Materials at the Imperial College London to which he moved from London South Bank University at which for almost ten years, he worked as Senior Research Scientist under guidance from Prof N Alford and was a developer of oxide thin films and tuneable microwave transmission devices. Before he got a job there, he used to work as a PDRA in Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. Currently he is in charge of the Thin Film Technology Laboratory which is a part of the London Centre for Nanotechnology. In February 2011 he was awarded Level 3 Certificate in the Occupational safety and health field from the National Examination Board. As of May of the same year he is the Dept. of Materials’ Safety Officer and laser safety Adviser. He is a lecturer at the Murata Manufacturing and an author of a book called Films and Multilayer Structures for Microwave Cryoelectronics which was coauthored by fellow professors Orest Vendik and Andrey Kozyrev.
