Peter Evans is an English retired scrap metal dealer and a poker player, who came to the limelight when finishing as runner-up in the first series of Late Night Poker. He currently lives in Birmingham, England.

Poker career

A player highly valued in the poker community of England. He is constantly playing both in small and big events, mostly taking place in different UK venues. He is also sometimes playing in the United States. His biggest cash is £21,000, coming from a festival, that took place at G Casino Walsall.

At the Euro Finals of Poker 10th Edition, held in Paris, he was playing at a €3000 EFOP Diamond Championship Event - No Limit Hold'em. It was held from Saturday 9th - Monday 11 December. He was the only British person to make it to the final table and finished in second place winning €79,940 (£50,288). It was won by Frechman Jerome Zerbib who won just over €140,000 (approx. £90,000). He was the only non-French person who finished in the top ten.

His latest cashes comes from a tournament, held in the United States, he finished ITM for a small cash. Besides that he has a second place from a Dusk Till Dawn Deepstack tournament and an ITM from Marbella Festival. Along with poker, he once was a well-respected snooker player.

As of 2008, his total live tournament winnings exceed $300,000.
