Peter Mitchell Charleton (born 11 April 1956) is a Justice of the Supreme Court of Ireland appointed on the 20 June 2014.

He was educated at Trinity College Dublin and King's Inns. He was called to the Bar in 1979, and became a Senior Counsel in 1995. He was appointed as a judge of the High Court in 2006, and assigned to the Commercial Court from 2010.
