Peter Brearley (born June 27, 1975) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player.

Brearley played major junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League with the Kitchener Rangers and London Knights before attending the University of Waterloo where he played two seasons (1995 – 1997) with the Warriors in the OUAA conference. He was recognized for his outstanding play during the 1995-96 season when he was selected as the 1996 OUAA West Rookie of the Year and presented with the Jim Nickleson Memorial Award.

Brearley made his professional hockey debut during the 1997–98 season with the Roanoke Express of the ECHL.

He spent his final two seasons in Germany playing with EHC München.
