Pershotravensk (Ukrainian: Першотравенськ, [pɛrʃɔtˈrɑβenʲsʲk]) is a town in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. Administratively, Pershotravensk is incorporated as the town of oblast significance. In 2013, the population was 29,019, down from 29,140 in 2001. Until 1960 was known as a town of Shakhtarske.
