Peroshah (Urdu: پیرو شاہ‎) is a historical village and union council located in district of Gujrat, Pakistan. Almost 22 km far away from the district headquarter.

In brief you can't call it a village but a small town or a model village.

Residents are mostly landlords, farmers and public service sector employees. A good number of locals serving in different fields of life in Middle east and western Europe and send remittances for families back home.

The village has good road connection to the nearby cities and village and is centrally located for educational, business and medical facilities. It is a hub of activities throughout the day visited by the villagers around the town to buy and sell commodities, visit hospitals, go to schools or just travel through.

PeroShahi's are generally known because of their royalty and rule over this area in the late 1700's-1800's.

The town and it's strong figures dominant the politics of home UC, NA 104 and district level.

In Peroshah Arain are in majority and there are some other castes are also living there.like Gujjar, Butt, Jatt, Kashmiri, Mughal e.t.c. Mostly people of this region are in abroad and earn their livelihood feeding their families rest of people are farmers, Doctors, engineers lawyers and Teachers.

Ch Iftiaz Who is known as a king of Punjab Prisons he has numberous sacrifices in politics and for the UC Peroshah, Ch Mustansir Iftiaz (Chairman), Ch Sajid Iftiaz (Late),Ch Ilyas, Ch Fakhir Ahmad, Ch Bahawal Buksh (Late) and Ch Imran Ali are an important and very respected personalities. Ch. Sajid Iftiaz Left us on 14th Oct, 1999 and Ch Mukhtar left us on 13th Dec 2016 but both of them are still living in the hearts and sorows of the locals. RIP
