Per G. Jonson (11 April 1910 – 16 October 1975) was a Norwegian ski jumper and cinematographer.
In 1934, Per Jonson set two hill records on Bloudkova velikanka in Planica at the international competition. First one was 78 meters long. At the second one he landed at 89 meters world record distance, however this record was set in unofficial training and was recognized only as a hill record.
His was one of the best ski jumpers of his time, training together with legends such as Birger Ruud and his brother Sigmund Ruud. In 1933, he was in Zakopane coaching Polish national ski jumping team.
He shot a short film about skiing in Karpathos which impressed German director Leni Riefenstahl, that she hired him as assistant director for the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He has primarily worked as a cinematographer on Norwegian films, in addition to occasionally working as director and producer. At the end of his career he established his own film production company.
