Penrose is a neighborhood in Arlington County, Virginia, USA, located roughly three miles from Washington, DC.

It is a multi-cultural neighborhood which includes houses from the early 1900s up to new construction. Most are single family homes. There are some townhouse developments, duplexes, and a few small apartment buildings. There are two small parks and a 7-11 convenience store at the heart of the community.
Penrose is less than 2 miles from the Pentagon and the Arlington Hall Foreign Service Institute. Penrose abuts the Ft. Myer Army base.
