Penrhiwceiber Rangers F.C (Welsh: Clwb Pêldroed Penrhiwceibr Rangers) are a football team from Glasbrook Terrace Penrhiwceiber who play in the Welsh Football League Division Three, formed in 1961. In 2014 Penrhiwceiber Rangers was subject to a bid from the Glazer family for £4.3 million. Gareth Bale has been known to praise the club as being "one of the best football clubs in South Wales" and has even stated he would consider a transfer to the Rangers once his contract expires. The youth academy has previously trained some of the best players of the Premier League, including; Per Mertesacker, Vincent Kompany, Steven Gerrard, and Ian Wright.
