Penang Mosque Application or also known as Penang Mosque Apps or "Penang Historical Mosque" is a Mobile app that gives the information on the historical of Mosque in Penang, Malaysia. It is the first project of its kind in Malaysia of using smart phone technology and incorporating with the traditional management of mosque in Penang and Malaysia. The Penang Mosque Apps has become viral to the youngsters and the tourist in Penang.
This project was initiated by Institute for Pioneering of Education and Economic Excellence (INSPIRE) which the idea was mooted by the Founding President Engku Isa Al-Husam on year 2013. The paper work was presented to the Penang Islamic Foundation and later was materialized through the funding by Think City, a subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional. The application was launched on August 2014 to the public users by downloading from the smart phone.
