Reviews of An Irish Vampire in Hollywood

  • Winner Best Film Score The International Moondance Film Festival.
  • “Utterly fantastic! Most cinema is boring. This film is different, creative and artistic. Better than Batman!” -Peter McCarthy, Producer-Director "Repo Man", "Sid & Nancy", "Floundering" "Death and Taxes".
  • “I was very taken with the film, by its poetic sensibility and often arresting images and by the narrative permutations you brought to the vampire genre. Conjuring up a vivid and indelible world, you present an Ireland admittedly a "tad" darker than say John Ford in The Quiet Man but no less evocative."- Robert Dawson, Award-Winning Movie Titleler 'The Doors", "Point Break", "Gladiator", "X Men".
  • "The Irish Vampire Goes West", is the first Irish vampire film." -Kim Newman The Irish Journal of Gothic and Horror Studies
  • “Art / vampire. Pegarty Long has discovered a new genre. Reminds one a bit, stylistically, of the German expressionists, especially NOSEFERATU."- Peter Belsito, Founder Filmfinders, Producer "Tarkowsky: Time Within Time".
  • “A beautifully shot film. "Irish Vampire" brought back my evenings in the underground cinema of the 60s. Too bad it's not still with us, because then you have a camp cult classic on your hands. - Wanda Coleman, Award-Winning Poet, Writer "Mad Dog Black Lady, "A War of Eyes and Other Stories".
  • "Timelessly classical." - Jeanne Collachia, Director, Editor, Producer "Bread and Salt".
