Payam Bathaei (پیام بطحائی in Persian) is an Iranian lawyer acting as youngest ever main member of the board of National Iranian Oil Company and its Director of Legal Affairs since 2010. He is the former Legal Affairs Director and main member of the board of Governmental Trading Corporation (Iranian Ministry of Commerce).
As the director of NIOC Legal Affairs office, he has gained the first ISO 9001:2008 certificate of quality management for an Iranian legal office 2011. He has improved the management system of the office through organizing educational programs for the legal staff, mechanizing and rearranging the valuable legal archives, implementing continuous observation methods, and having efficient interaction with other legal offices related to Iranian Ministry of Petroleum.
