Paxico Records

Paxico Records is an Independent record label that releases Hip Hop & Experimental musicians, primarily on cassette. They were based out of Paxico, KS and moved to the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The label is run and founded by App Designer, Producer & Visual Artist, Chris Hund. Each release is organized to show the special rapport between its audio and visual components. Paxico Records grew out of a multimedia thesis project Hund undertook while studying photography at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2009. Paxico Records releases are carried by select retailers in Japan, France, Australia, Germany, and the US. Paxico also hosts and organizes a live e-Broadcast and event from a secret location, called "Powwaw".
