Paul Winters (born April 20, 1954 in Pennsylvania) is an American filmmaker, writer, and actor. He played Colonel Ben Loftin in the film Nate and the Colonel (which also starred Ricco Ross as Nate).

During the 1990s he co-produced Gahan Wilson's Diner (an animated 35 mm feature short by cartoonist Gahan Wilson) for 20th Century Fox. Winters was a co-producer on the CBS pilot "It's True" (starring Mark Hamill and Dean Stockwell). In 2001, Winter co-executive produced (for Showtime) the pilot "The Kid" (starring Ed Asner, Lolita Davidovich, Eugene Levy, William Shatner, and Jennifer Tilly). Winters wrote and directed Red Blood (starring David Midthunder), and Nate and the Colonel.

Training in the martial arts since age 11, Paul Winters holds many belts in a variety of martial arts systems. He has trained with Dan Inosanto, Teruyuki Okazaki, Harry Hamzy, Al Dacascos, Mark Dacascos, Robert Sandmaier, Bill Owens, Royce Gracie, Helio Gracie, Rorion Gracie, Ryron Gracie, Rener Gracie, and Rickson Gracie. Paul Winters is currently training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Wellington "Megaton" Dias in Arizona.
