Paul Edward Strand (December 19, 1893 – July 2, 1974) was a pitcher and outfielder in Major League Baseball. He played for the Boston Braves and Philadelphia Athletics. Strand still holds the record for the most hits in a professional league season - 325 for the Salt Lake City Bees of the Pacific Coast League in 1923.
