Paul Politi is a successful American songwriter famous for his collaboration of over 40 songs with singer and songwriter Barry White.

Politi and White collaborated in writing songs including many for the African American singer Felice Taylor during the mid 1960s. Various songs co-written for her include "It May Be Winter Outside (But in My Heart It's Spring)" in 1967, the follow-up "Under the Influence of Love". Both were later covered by Love Unlimited, a protegée Female vocal group established through Barry White's initiative and both becoming hits in the United States. The international fame came through "I Feel Love Comin' On" co-written by Politi and White. The song became a big hit for Taylor in the United Kingdom and through out Europe also in 1967.

Other Politi songs include "Those Oldies but Goodies (Reminds Me of You)" by Little Caesar & the Romans co-written by Politi and Nick Curinga as early as 1961 and "I'm So Glad That I'm a Woman" by the female trio Love Unlimited. Paul Leo Politi songs have also been recorded by Kenny Vance and the Planotones, The Love Unlimited Orchestra, Kylie Minogue, Jayz with The Notorious B.I.G. Sonny Knight, Steps, Sunny and the Sunliners, KHALIQ, JAKKI O, Miz Davis, Al Wilson and Nino and the Ebb Tides.

Politi also co-wrote most of the songs on Barry White album The Message Is Love in 1979. Three songs written by Politi and White charted on US R&B chart, "Any Fool Could See (You Were Meant for Me)", "It Ain't Love, Babe (Until You Give It)" and "Love Ain't Easy". Paul Politi's father was artist, author & illustrator Leo Politi. Politi wrote twenty five books. The world famous J.Paul Getty Museum has re-published four of Politi's books including two Caldecott Honor books as well as "The Song of the Swallows" a Caldecott winner. Also recently Europe's Taschen Press has re-published Leo Politi's Moy Moy in five languages German, French, Italian, Spanish and English. The Catholic Library Association each year presents the Regina Medal of excellence to one living exemplar of the words of the English poet, Walter de la Mare "only the rarest kind of best in anything can be good enough for the young," for continued, distinguished contribution to children's literature without regard to the nature of the contribution. In 1966 Leo Politi was the recipient of this distinguished award.
