Paul Lawrence Farber (b. 1944) is an author and professor of the history of science at the Oregon State University. He has authored or edited eight books about the history of science as well as dozens of articles. He is an elected fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
In 2010, he was elected president of the History of Science Society. Oregon State University's special collections hold Farber's personal papers.
