Paul King (born May 26, 1984) is a technology innovator and entrepreneur. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Hercules Networks, as well as a member of the board. Prior to Hercules Networks, King was a founding partner at G.C. Media, Inc. Earlier in his career he was the founder and C.E.O. of International Sales Team Realty. King expanded International Sales Team Realty by developing Chase Mortgage Center and New Wave Title Company.

In the late 2000s', King developed and marketed a commercially successful lines of mobile charging stations, known as goCharge stations. King came up with the idea when a dead cell phone caused him to miss a flight during his college years.

King has been featured on CNN News, NBC, BusinessWeek, MediaWeek, and has been quoted and featured on a number of news and media outlets. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.

goCharge Kiosk Development

King thought of the concept for public phone charging kiosks, and met with Miami real estate developer Michael Gold to discuss the concept. Gold was immediately intrigued, and agreed to write a $500,000 check to start the venture (Gold eventually contributed an additional $350,000). King then traveled to China to meet with various technology manufacturers in order to find the best quality manufacturer. King felt comfortable with one firm after analyzing half a dozen options, and invited Gold over to the factory to confirm his opinion. Gold felt comfortable with their work. A 47-page contract was put together in Miami by Lipscomb Brady and Bobadilla PL, and then translated to Chinese. The contract was signed in China on June 14, 2008.

Hercules Networks currently has goCharge kiosks in: Chicago Bars, Restaurants, and Hotels; Las Vegas Casinos; Atlantic City Casinos; South Florida Colleges, New York bars and restaurants. Hercules Networks has international distribution in Israel, Russia, Poland, Guatemala, Chile, Canada, and various parts of South America.

Hercules Networks clients include: AT&T, Google, Bank of America, Target, Hoovers, and General Motors.

Hercules Networks raised an additional private investment round in September 2009 to fund their Conferences and Events Business, which leases goCharge kiosks to tradeshows.

King says goCharge kiosks will roll out with touchscreens in late 2010 and offer advertisers an added bonus.
