Paul Greenberg is a digital media veteran whose career has focused on multimedia and technology strategy within the lifestyle, entertainment, and music industries. He is currently Executive Vice-President & General Manager of FYI Network and Executive Vice-President of 45th & Dean, a multiplatform video and audio storytelling hub, at A+E Networks.

Career

Greenberg began as a sportscaster, working for WINS in New York City and WTOP in Washington, D.C., before entering digital entertainment in 1997 by joining MTV, where he ascended to Vice President of Business Development and Operations.

In 2002, Greenberg joined MusicNet as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Partner Relations. After four years at MusicNet, he joined TV Guide Digital as Executive Vice President and General Manager and was featured in interviews with Forbes and USA Today for his efforts to bring a former print-only brand into the digital age. For his work with TV Guide Digital, Greenberg was named to the Hollywood Reporter’s Digital Power 2009 list of top 50 new-media executives.

In 2010, Greenberg signed on with Time Inc. as Digital Lifestyle President, taking over 10 website properties including Real Simple and Health.com. He spent just over seven months at Time before leaving to become CEO of CollegeHumor, which he joined in October 2010 to lead web, social, TV, and mobile efforts.

After three years at CollegeHumor, Greenberg was named President of SFX Entertainment, an American live events conglomerate focusing primarily on electronic dance music, or EDM, in March 2014. He left SFX in June 2014.

In October 2014, Greenberg was named CEO of Nylon to build the brand into a global entity using an integrated media strategy. Greenberg has appeared multiple times on Fox Business News, including interviews on the Sony Pictures Entertainment hack and the prospects of Meerkat (app), Periscope (app), and Facebook Messenger.

Mentoring and personal causes

Greenberg is active on the New York City startup scene. He is a mentor in the New York City chapter of Techstars and served as an advisor to startup accelerator First Growth Venture Network. Greenberg is currently working with his father, who is blind, on "End Blindness by 2020", an initiative to end blindness.
