Paul De Roy - artist
Paul De Roy is a figurative painter and drawer. He also wrote several books with his own work as a starting point.
He was born in 1951 in Merksem nearby Antwerp, Belgium. Since 1977 he has had exhibitions both national and international. At the Catholic University of Leuven he studied Norwegian. In this way it is easier for him to integrate during his annual trips to northern Scandinavia in search for inspiration.
He uses the pictures he takes to make his paintings in all peace and quietness at his studio in Antwerp.
