Patos is a municipality in the state of Paraíba in the Northeast Region of Brazil. Its population is 104 716 inhabitants (IBGE, 2013).
Esporte and Nacional are the two city's football clubs, They play in Municipal Stadium José Cavalcanti. There are four multisports gyms: the Rivaldão, AABB, Sesc and Sesi.
Climate
The city of Patos experiences a tropical hot semi-arid climate (Köppen BSh) with a short rainy season from February to April.
