Patoptoformis hanuman

Patoptoformis hanuman is a species of moth of the Cossidae family. It is found in India (Assam).

The length of the forewings is about 12 mm for males and 14 mm for females. The forewings are brown with a weak black streaky pattern. The hindwings are uniform dark brown.

Etymology

The species is named from Hanuman, a sacral monkey in Indian mythology.
