Patania aedilis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1887. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland.

The wingspan is about 20 mm. Adults are grey with white markings. There are two black edged white marks on the forewing costa. The hindwings have a white margin.
