Parsonsia heterophylla, commonly called New Zealand jasmine or kaihua, is a climbing plant endemic to New Zealand.

It is found in wet lowland forest and its seeds are dispersed by the wind.

The larvae of the moth Stigmella kaimanua feed on the leaves of P. heterophylla.
