Parapoynx affinialis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Guenée in 1854. It is found in Egypt and from the Middle East to India. It has also been recorded from Australia.

The wingspan is 12–22 mm. The forewings are pale fuscous with a darker fuscous median fascia and a paler discal spot. The hindwings are whitish with a wavy dark fuscous submarginal line. The termen is orange-fuscous.

The larvae feed on Potamogeton perfoliatus.
