Paramorpha marginata

Paramorpha marginata is a moth of the Carposinidae family. It is endemic to New Zealand.

The wingspan is about 11 mm. The head, palpi, antennae and thorax are white. The abdomen is ochreous white and the legs are fuscous mixed with whitish. Forewings with costa moderately arched, apex rather angular, termen rounded, oblique. They are white, rather greyish except along the costa. The hindwings and fringes are shining white. It is similar to Carposina maculosa, but can be distinguished by the small size and the yellow margin of the costa of the forewing.
