Paradi Mirmirani

Paradi Mirmirani, M.D., is an American dermatologist who practices in Vallejo, California. Disorders of the hair are the main focus of her clinical and research interest. Her research made the initial discovery of the role of PPAR in cicatritial alopecia. She is a well-known figure in the field of hair disorders and medical hair management. Her opinion is often noted in medical as well as non-medical media, including Good Housekeeping and CNN. She is a member of the North American Hair Research Society and the Women's Dermatologic Society, and she serves as a mentor in the WDS mentorship award program.
