Pampaphoneus is a genus of dinocephalian from the Middle Permian of Brazil. It is known from a well-preserved skull. The type species is Pampaphoneus biccai. Below is a cladogram showing the phylogenetic placement of Pampaphoneus from Cisneros et al. (2012):
