Palazzo Gherardi

Palazzo Gherardi is a 15th-century building in the centre of Florence, Tuscany, in central Italy. The Palace is located in Via Ghibellina, in the Santa Croce district.

Palazzo Gherardi displays a facade from the Renaissance period. At the ground floor, the principal entrance and a secondary gate are surrounded by square windows of grey stone. Inside, an ancient balustrade and a porch with octagonal columns mark the transition between the medieval architecture and the renaissance style.

There is a restaurant on the ground floor, while the first floor of the building is occupied by an Italian language school. There are private homes on the second floor.
