Palaquium neoebudicum

Palaquium sericeum is a tree in the Sapotaceae family. It grows up to 22 metres (70 ft) tall. The bark is reddish brown. Inflorescences bear up to 20 flowers. The fruits are round or ellipsoid, up to 2.7 cm (1 in) long. The specific epithet sericeum is from the Latin meaning "silky", referring to the indumentum. Habitat is many types of forest, primarily mixed dipterocarp forest. P. sericeum is endemic to Borneo.
